The newest state college of the South, the Compostela Valley State College (CVSC) of Davao de Oro has joined the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines, Inc. (AACCUP) last March 14, 2017.
Established through Republic Act 10598 on June 04, 2013, the CVSC is presently led by Dr. Christie Jean V. Ganiera and has joined the agency to put the college in a better position to reach the echelon reserved for top tertiary institutions of the country. It has conducted several activities which aimed at improving academic services, including the accreditation of its program offerings.
Currently, it has four campuses, and additional infrastructures are being built to expedite the progress of CVSC, its students, and all its stakeholders. It is put into pedestal by the CVSC community as there is an advocacy to make the college known and initiatives for compliance to program standards and good governance are given emphasis. These include curriculum development and compliance, space and structure development, physical and instructional facilities development, faculty and staff development, and additional manpower.
