As early as 6.30 in the morning, some participants were already flocking in at the registration area of Century Park Hotel during Day 1 of the 30th Annual National Conference. An estimated total of more than 400 participants are expected to arrive during this year’s annual national conference, which includes the presence of the University Presidents, Vice-Presidents, Quality Assurance Officers, and other accreditation enthusiasts.

Aside from the expected participants, there were more walk-in participants who came in getting their chance to be accommodated for registration. In particular, participants from Cotabato City State Polytechnic College (CCSPC) were among the participants who took their chances for registration for the conference, despite their delayed confirmation of attendance. It took them more than an hour to wait, before they were finally accommodated for registration for the conference.

As of 12:30PM, there were around 470 registered participants, and a few more SUCs that confirmed sending their participants are yet to register within the day. Thus, the number is expected to rise on Day 2.
